Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

At Avaro Gym, we work with a network of trusted fitness equipment manufacturers and suppliers across the UK.

To provide access to a wider range of equipment and ensure efficient delivery, many Avaro Gym orders are dispatched directly from the relevant manufacturer or authorised supplier to the customer's delivery address.

This means your order may arrive in Avaro packaging, manufacturer-branded packaging or packaging displaying the name of our fulfilment partner.

Our direct-to-customer delivery model allows us to offer a broader range of fitness equipment without the need to hold every product in our own warehouse.

1. How Avaro Delivery Works

When you place an order with Avaro:

1. You place your order through the Avaro website.

2. Avaro processes your order.

3. The relevant manufacturer or authorised supplier prepares the equipment for dispatch.

4. The equipment is dispatched directly to your delivery address.

5. The manufacturer, supplier or appointed carrier may contact you regarding delivery.

Although your equipment may be dispatched directly by the manufacturer or supplier, your purchase is made through Avaro Gym and Avaro Gym remains your point of contact for order enquiries.

2. Delivery Areas

Avaro currently focuses on delivering fitness equipment throughout the United Kingdom.

Delivery availability can vary depending on the product and manufacturer.

Some products may have restrictions relating to:

  • Northern Ireland.

  • Scottish Highlands and Islands.

  • Scottish Islands.

  • Isle of Man.

  • Isle of Wight.

  • Channel Islands.

  • Other remote locations.

Where additional delivery charges or restrictions apply, we will aim to make this clear before your order is confirmed.

If you are unsure whether we can deliver a particular product to your location, please contact us before ordering.

3. Delivery Times

Delivery times vary depending on the product, manufacturer, supplier, stock availability and delivery location.

Each product may have its own estimated delivery timeframe.

Where an estimated delivery timeframe is provided on the product page, this is an indication rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless specifically stated otherwise.

Typical delivery times may range from a few working days to several weeks, particularly for larger commercial equipment or products that are temporarily out of stock.

Where a product is made to order or has an extended manufacturer lead time, this will be communicated where possible.

4. Manufacturer & Supplier Direct Dispatch

Because Avaro operates a direct-to-customer fulfilment model, your equipment may be dispatched directly from:

  • The product manufacturer.

  • An authorised UK distributor.

  • An approved supplier.

  • A third-party fulfilment facility operated on behalf of the manufacturer.

This allows us to offer a wider range of equipment while reducing unnecessary handling and transportation.

The manufacturer or supplier may therefore appear on:

  • Delivery documentation.

  • Packaging.

  • Shipping notifications.

  • Carrier information.

  • Product labels.

This is a normal part of Avaro's fulfilment process.

5. Multiple Products in One Order

If you purchase multiple products, they may not all arrive at the same time.

This can happen where products are supplied by different manufacturers or suppliers.

For example, an order containing several pieces of equipment may be split into multiple deliveries.

You may therefore receive:

  • Multiple dispatch notifications.

  • Different delivery dates.

  • Deliveries from different carriers.

  • Products in different manufacturer's packaging.

You will not necessarily receive every item in your order in one shipment.

6. Delivery Notifications

Depending on the manufacturer, supplier and carrier, you may receive delivery information by:

  • Email.

  • Telephone.

  • SMS.

  • Carrier tracking notification.

For larger fitness equipment, the carrier or manufacturer may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date or delivery window.

Please ensure that the contact details provided when placing your order are accurate.

7. Large & Heavy Equipment

Fitness equipment can be significantly larger and heavier than standard online retail products.

Larger equipment may therefore be delivered using a specialist carrier.

Delivery arrangements may include:

  • Kerbside delivery.

  • Pallet delivery.

  • Tail-lift delivery.

  • Pre-arranged delivery appointments.

  • Specialist fitness equipment delivery.

The specific delivery service will depend on the product and manufacturer.

Unless installation or room-of-choice delivery is specifically stated as included with your order, delivery should be assumed to be to an appropriate accessible delivery point.

8. Access Requirements

Before ordering large or heavy equipment, customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address can safely accommodate the delivery.

Please consider:

  • Driveway access.

  • Road access.

  • Vehicle access.

  • Gates.

  • Door widths.

  • Hallways.

  • Staircases.

  • Lifts.

  • Ceiling height.

  • Turning space.

  • Access to the intended installation area.

Some equipment may be delivered on pallets or using large delivery vehicles.

If you are unsure whether your property can accommodate delivery, please contact Avaro before ordering.

9. Kerbside Delivery

Where a product is delivered by pallet or specialist carrier, delivery may be kerbside unless otherwise stated.

This means the carrier may deliver the equipment to an appropriate point at the property rather than carrying it into the building or to the final installation location.

Customers should ensure that sufficient assistance is available where necessary to move equipment from the delivery point.

For particularly large or heavy equipment, specialist installation or delivery services may be available depending on the manufacturer.

10. Failed Delivery

A delivery may be unsuccessful if:

  • Nobody is available to receive the delivery where attendance is required.

  • The delivery vehicle cannot safely access the property.

  • The customer provides an incorrect delivery address.

  • Access restrictions prevent delivery.

  • The customer is unavailable for an agreed delivery appointment.

  • The delivery cannot be completed safely.

Where a failed delivery results in an additional carrier or manufacturer charge, this may be payable by the customer where permitted by law and where the charge results from circumstances within the customer's control.

We will discuss any such issue with you before additional charges are applied where appropriate.

11. Checking Your Delivery

When your equipment arrives, we recommend checking the packaging and equipment as soon as reasonably possible.

If there is visible damage, please:

  • Take photographs of the packaging.

  • Take photographs of the equipment.

  • Record any visible damage.

  • Contact Avaro as soon as possible.

Where possible, please retain the packaging until you are satisfied that the equipment has arrived safely.

Please do not refuse delivery solely because the packaging appears slightly damaged without first speaking to the carrier or Avaro, unless the equipment itself is clearly damaged or the carrier requires otherwise.

Reporting damage promptly helps us work with the relevant manufacturer, supplier and carrier to resolve the issue quickly.

Your statutory rights are not affected if you cannot report damage immediately.

12. Delivery Delays

We work closely with our manufacturers, suppliers and carriers to minimise delivery delays.

However, delays can occasionally occur due to:

  • Stock shortages.

  • Manufacturer lead times.

  • High demand.

  • Carrier delays.

  • Severe weather.

  • Transport disruption.

  • Supplier issues.

  • Unexpected operational problems.

If we become aware of a significant delay affecting your order, we will provide an update where reasonably possible.

Where a legally applicable delivery deadline is not met, you may have rights to cancel your order or take other action depending on the circumstances.

13. Out-of-Stock Products

If an item becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will contact you where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances, we may offer:

  • An updated delivery date.

  • An alternative product.

  • A suitable replacement.

  • Cancellation and refund.

We will discuss the available options with you.

14. Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order Equipment

Some fitness equipment may be available for pre-order or made specifically following an order.

Where this applies, an estimated lead time will be provided where possible.

Made-to-order or customised products may have different cancellation and return rights where permitted by law.

Please review the relevant product information before placing an order.

15. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges vary depending on:

  • Product size.

  • Product weight.

  • Delivery location.

  • Manufacturer.

  • Carrier.

  • Delivery service.

  • Number of products.

Where a delivery charge applies, it will be displayed during the purchasing process or otherwise communicated before the order is confirmed.

Some products may qualify for free delivery within specified areas.

Where additional charges apply to remote or non-standard delivery locations, we will communicate these where appropriate.

16. International Delivery

Avaro currently focuses on delivery within the United Kingdom.

International delivery is not currently offered unless specifically agreed with Avaro.

If you require delivery outside the UK, please contact us before placing an order.

17. Manufacturer Contact

Because equipment may be dispatched directly from a manufacturer or supplier, you may occasionally receive communication from the manufacturer or delivery partner regarding your order.

This may include:

  • Delivery confirmation.

  • Tracking information.

  • Delivery appointment requests.

  • Product information.

  • Installation information.

This does not change the fact that your order was placed through Avaro.

If you have questions about your order, you can contact Avaro and we will assist you.

18. Installation

Unless specifically stated on the product page or your order confirmation, installation is not included as standard.

Many fitness products require customer assembly.

For larger or more complex equipment, professional installation may be recommended.

Customers should always follow the manufacturer's installation instructions.

Where professional installation is available, this may be offered separately depending on the manufacturer and product.

19. Delivery & Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this Shipping & Delivery Policy affects your statutory rights.

If you purchase goods from Avaro as a consumer, your legal rights relating to delivery, cancellation, faulty goods and refunds remain unaffected.

Where applicable, goods should generally be delivered within 30 days unless a different delivery period has been agreed with you. (gov.uk)
